Oh where to begin!!!
Creativity isn’t limited to painting a mural or carrying around a sketchbook.
Creativity, in my opinion, has no limits.
As an artist, there’s nothing more that I wish to do than to share my art.
I don’t necessarily mean my drawings; I’m talking about this!
Writing is my form of artistic expression. It’s where my creativity flows best.
But I, too, struggle with things that hold me back from writing naturally:
- Writer’s block
- The curse of the perfectionist
- Life events that are too stressful to deal with at times
- Imposter syndrome
- The fear of being seen
I’m sure the list is much bigger, but you get the idea!
Creativity is much more than just writing, art, and music. It’s problem solving (i.e. if you’re supervising a store, what are some ways to bring customers in? How can you make the place comfortable enough for customers to keep coming back? Often times, that answer can come from, you guessed it, a creative outlook!)
Sometimes creativity is how we cope through hard times. Some of us like to find distractions, while others like to sit with our troubled minds. But no matter what, no matter how tough it gets, it’s important to balance out your life.
I’ll be sharing facts, tips, and tricks on how to (re)ignite your creative soul!
I’ll also have some fun activities to keep that creative flow moving.
There are books, coloring pages, journal prompts, and so much more just to keep you going.
People frequently believe the creative life is grounded in fantasy. The more difficult truth is that creativity is grounded in reality, in particular, the focused, the well-observed or specifically imagined.
